A Surprise Proposal in Banff
Kelly and Karyn’s story began six to seven years ago at work, and over time their connection grew into something truly special. Wanting to create a meaningful and unforgettable proposal, Kelly chose Banff as the setting, combining stunning mountain views with a deeply personal moment.
With the help of their friend Larissa, every detail was thoughtfully planned to keep the proposal a complete surprise. The timing was set for midday, allowing the couple to enjoy a relaxed brunch at the iconic Sky Bistro after the proposal to take in the views.
A Birthday to Remember
What made this moment even more special was that it happened on Karyn’s birthday. What started as a day of celebration quickly turned into something even more meaningful.
At the top of the gondola, surrounded by snow-covered peaks and crisp mountain air, Kelly proposed with a stunning ring by Vera Wang.
Karyn was completely surprised, overwhelmed with emotion, and instantly beaming with joy. It was one of those moments that feels both intimate and cinematic at the same time.
